Trading Manager, Google Store

  • 2 years of experience in sales/trading in an e-commerce environment.
  • Experience in retail, online sector, and ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced online sales environment, with repeated financial and expansion success and exceeding quotas.
  • Experience in building relationships with partners, with strategic and sales approach.
  • Experience working within European markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems, and scale effectively across a large organization.

About the job

Google Store is Google’s owned and operated e-commerce channel for Google hardware devices and services. Our mission is to deliver excellent e-commerce experiences for our customers and maximize first-party hardware devices and service sales.

In this role, you will lead the development of the e-commerce business as it scales in-region. The team manages all sites across EMEA and is responsible for driving an optimal customer experience and business across the breadth of Google’s device and services portfolio. This includes Pixel phones, buds, smartwatch tablet, plus Fitbit and Google Nest portfolios.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop one or more of the device and services categories on Google Store including launch planning, sales forecasting, promotional planning, analysis and merchandising across EMEA sites.
  • Set goals for product volumes, market share goals, execution, and on-site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new and existing products.
  • Deliver and exceed business goals and source new opportunities. Improve the customer experience with a focus on site capabilities, delivery, and support.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, customer service, demand planning, product, engineering, legal, and finance and country teams.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, both internally and externally, using a trading and day-to-day management perspective.
