Manufacturing Supply Chain Development Manager, Raxium

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing or operations management.
  • Experience with agreements, vendor management and supply/demand planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing or Supply Chain development.
  • 5 years of experience in supplier development and managing domestic or overseas supply chains.
  • Experience in direct and indirect sourcing for wafer production, managing foundry and OSAT suppliers.
  • Experience in solving challenges in operations or supply chain teams.
  • Ability to work, influence, and resolve conflicts cross-functionally with internal/external teams.

Raxium is on the cutting edge microLED technology, bringing the first monolithically-integrated, micron-scale and RGB emitter solution to enable differentiated display products, ranging from augmented reality (AR) micro-displays to direct-view light-field displays with natural 3D functionality.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to transform the display industry. Collaborating closely with our engineering and development teams, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative supply chain strategies to secure critical supply from geopolitical, quality and continuity perspectives. You will ensure the flow of critical materials and components to the fab, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our revolutionary displays.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing supplier relationships including all aspects of commercial, quality, inventory and logistics relating to critical supplies.
  • Interface between suppliers and multiple departments within Raxium team to foster supplier development and meet the needs of Raxium's display technology.
  • Identify and implement risk management and sustainability solutions for critically needed supplies. 
  • Own and manage inventory for critical supplies, ensuring continuity for our Fremont Fabrication.
  • Manage commercial agreement development and negotiations for supplies, spares and capital purchasing.
