Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (Italian, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently to interact with clients and stakeholders in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategically assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Experience in thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Italy, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Consulting with a wide variety of existing advertising companies of all sizes, you are committed to finding the optimal advertising solution for each client. Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables brands to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

In this role, you will be the executive promoter for high potential clients, focusing primarily on relationship building. You will help to shape and evolve client objectives and identify opportunities for future client growth. You will also help the clients with short and long-term goals, build strategy alongside account strategists and client-side partners, and identify ways for Google to enhance clients ability to meet their business and marketing objectives.

You will design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. You will provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental business agreement through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
