Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions together with insights and measurement.
  • Experience with brand and performance marketing and measurement solutions (e.g., MMM, Experiments, MTA, incrementality, etc.).
  • Experience with online advertising (e.g., Search, Display, Video/TV), website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), or brand analysis techniques, and with performing marketing experiments, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analyses.
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify insights, and communicate findings via presentations or dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As a Senior Analytical Lead, you will support Automotive clients and will use data and insights to solve problems that transform their businesses and help achieve their objectives. You will foster and lead relationships with client marketing, strategy, and analytics stakeholders, and will help clients modernize their marketing measurement by adopting best practices. You’ll use user behavior insights, customer segmentation, and Google internal data to devise marketing strategies that drive results.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients as an industry advocate and analyst on opportunities associated with industry standards, trends, potential business impact, and methodologies for marketing and media analytics, measurement, and data integration.
  • Seek out key decision makers and earn their trust to challenge the status quo together by telling stories with data.
  • Support client relationships with others in the client organization and their vendors including marketing/advertising, and analytics.
  • Partner with internal and external product, research, data and measurement teams.
  • Analyze internal and external data and use predictive and statistical modeling techniques to uncover opportunities, develop solutions to client marketing challenges, and measure success of advertising campaigns.
