Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in program or project management.
- 4 years of experience in program management with an IT or Tech company.
- Experience identifying and implementing processes, managing operational initiatives across multiple teams and regions, as well as vendor support.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience in people management developing and leading a team.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Experience launching a new program.
- Experience launching in-person or virtual events.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and present insights/recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
About the job
The Mastery team develops and delivers product and skills training to Google sales and services teams, as well as external client and agency partners. The team is made up of passionate learning professionals, sales and marketing leaders, and former consultants and analysts who launch and iterate learning programs while balancing key pillars of knowledge and disciplined practice to help audiences thrive.
As a Program Management Lead, you will manage a team of program managers and be responsible for launching, landing, and delivering a premium learning experience, and setting the future strategy. You will drive day-to-day operations, creating and enhancing processes and governance, and building systems and tools that operationalize Mastery’s learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Coach, lead, and mentor a team of program managers.
- Define, prioritize, structure, and execute strategic initiatives, including optimizing resource allocation and measuring/reporting progress against key objectives.
- Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement.
- Influence senior stakeholders to implement suggested improvements, and build consensus, drive projects and communicate status to senior stakeholders across projects.
- Create program infrastructure that enables consistent, high quality delivery at scale.
