Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 6 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 6 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience with architecture and designs needed to build a large-scale distributed systems in the cloud.
- Experience with Network Management Systems and Web Applications.

GEN (Google Enterprise Network) is responsible to manage, run and scale this network while ensuring that we build it with the latest technologies needed to run Google.
Lead a team of Software Engineers responsible for the systems that automate the management of the network. Play a key role in bringing a new model for enterprise networking to the market that is more secure and has much greater development velocity than traditional networking solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the team technically by contributing to defining the new architecture of a systems that automate the management of NextGEN network systems.
- Prioritize teams deliverables to ensure smooth, quality and timely execution of deliverables.
- Work with Partner teams to understand their requirements and build systems that ensure that changes are correctly applied to the network.
- Anticipate scaling bottlenecks or shifts in usage, increase availability and reliability, or make data-driven optimizations and adjustments.
- Own significant portions of the design of systems including authoring and presenting design specifications.
