Industrial Security Lead, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 14 years of experience in industrial security, personnel security, or a related field, including leading and managing security programs.
  • 8 years of experience in physical security systems, and critical infrastructure security.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, GICSP, etc.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and conducting security risk assessments.
  • Experience with the US Government in SCIFs and DOD/IC Classified environments.
  • Experience in managing security training and awareness programs.
  • Experience in cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

As the Industrial Security Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive security program to safeguard Google Public Sector's critical infrastructure, facilities, and operational technology (OT) environments. You will have an understanding of the security challenges facing the public sector and the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable strategies to protect sensitive data, systems, and facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of Google Public Sector's facilities and personnel. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting security risk assessments, and overseeing security training and awareness programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$282,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a holistic industrial security strategy that aligns with Google Public Sector's overall security posture and business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments GPS personnel, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of security controls, technologies, and processes to protect industrial environments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations related to industrial security.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, operations, IT, and legal.
