Salesforce Application Engineer, Customer Apps and Platforms Enablement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working with configuration and custom development CRM modules in SFDC (Salesforce). Experience integrating SFDC (Salesforce) with business applications
  • Experience coding in APEX.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer (I or II).
  • Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, or Ajax) and Web Services (RESTful, SOAP).
  • Experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Apex, integration patterns, and scaling the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with Application Development, API Design, API Development, JavaScript, System Integration, Agile Software Development, Technical Design.
  • Understanding of software implementation lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).

We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Be a technical expert on the Salesforce platform leveraging your proven experience to architect and develop Salesforce-based applications to drive business success
  • Design, develop, and sustain business critical applications, leveraging a broad spectrum of technologies, including the Salesforce platform.
  • Leverage Apex, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript and SOQL skills among others to deliver key new features using Salesforce platform and adjacent technologies
  • Work with teams to create an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to support cross-functional use cases. Develop and support Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning technologies.
  • Collaborate with the business and operations team to define, evaluate, prioritize, and improve Salesforce-centric applications’ features and functionality. Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to stabilize and scale system integrations.
