Group Marketing Manager, Retail Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing, working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • 5 years of experience with people management.
  • Leadership experience in Business-to-Consumer marketing, leading teams to deliver results in cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with smartphone/electronic goods/leading marketing for premium categories with large online and offline retail presence.
  • Understanding of Google engaged position and determining the optimal way to position products in the market and how to use media to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with geographically dispersed teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to take initiative, provide breakthrough strategy, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build diverse and inclusive teams, attract, and retain talent.
  • Ability to drive impact through go-to-market campaigns.

About the job

As the Group Marketing Manager, Retail Marketing for Pixel in India, you will be the driving force behind our retail omni channel strategy in one of the world's most dynamic smartphone markets. You will craft and execute a winning strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish Pixel as a beloved brand among Indian consumers. You will lead a high-performing team, help build strong retail partnerships, and bring the magic of Google to life in Indian retail channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high functioning team, building the right culture to foster growth and development and ensure high quality of output.
  • Drive the growth of Pixel business in India, co-owning business metrics along with other functional leaders across India, region and global teams. Build robust mechanisms of measurement and feedback across channels.Champion India retail insights to influence the business direction
  • Own and drive India retail strategy and plans. Work closely with cross functional leads and regional and global marketing teams to ensure plans are aligned and influence strategy as required. 
  • Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the competition, channel dynamics, consumer positioning, product segmentation and sales performance. 
  • Build collaborative relationships with senior external partners including Carriers, OEMs and Retailers.
