Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in project management, operations, finance, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in vendor management/legal operations.
- Experience with legal matter management or e-billing software.
- Experience with Google suite of products.
- Understanding of law firms or corporate legal department matters and billing management.
- Ability to prioritize and execute on numerous projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
About the job
As a Legal Billing and Operations Analyst, you will help in managing end-to-end matter and spend operations by working with our Global Affairs team, law firms and legal vendors, and other internal teams (e.g., accounts payable, finance, engineering, invoice review team, etc.) to ensure processes and systems are running smoothly. You will use your communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and job functions. You will be highly organized, with attention to detail and you will also have an understanding of how corporate legal departments and law firms work. You will be self-initative and can recognize where processes and systems can be improved and will take the initiative to improve them. You value excellent customer experience and are highly adaptable to change.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000-$116,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Serve as a subject matter expert for Global Affairs’ matter management and e-billing processes and systems.
- Engage and onboard new firms/legal vendors.
- Serve as an escalation point for our legal bill help and invoice review teams.
- Resolve escalations for internal and external inquiries regarding engagements, matters, invoices, budgets, and overall billing data.
- Identify issues, bugs, and feature requests and coordinate with technical support teams to resolve them.
