Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, advising clients on business strategy and operations.
  • 5 years of experience in consulting and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with clients in the region.
  • Experience in conducting/drawing insights from multiple data analysis to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a contract role with a professional services and consulting organization.
  • Ability to deliver business transformation programs in a fluid, and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to identify and understand business problems, and craft creative, impactful solutions.
  • Ability to communicate and influence cross-functionally and at the executive level.
  • Ability to operate separately in complex, fast-paced environments, with thought leadership and a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

This role is a consulting position, focused on advising and providing solutions to the Learning and Training services business stakeholders regarding their vendor needs.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and solutions provider, build strong relationships with external partners globally, as well as internal Google stakeholders. You will be responsible for discussing and securing the best possible value for Google in all vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the development and implementation of a comprehensive vendor strategy for Cloud Business functions, encompassing sourcing, selection, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of existing agreements across Google Cloud vendor operations.
  • Design and propose innovative vendor solutions that encompass location strategy, rate cards, commercial terms, and other key variables.
  • Conduct thorough primary and secondary market research to establish cost benchmarks across various global locations and service types.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to craft clear, comprehensive, and compelling request documents that accurately capture the scope of services required.
