Strategic Partner Manager, Health, Youth and Learning, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partner/account management, content strategy or a related role.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Project management using project execution frameworks and in negotiating agreements and effective execution of those agreements.
  • Experience and relationships with the Health, Learning or Youth industry in Canada including YouTube content creation and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time and analyze data to create insights that are actionable for external partners, including verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation of small and large events, writing and delivery skills.
  • Track record of achieving product adoption, content and growth goals for external partners and proactively improving processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Business team at YouTube, you'll work closely with some of the most influential Health, Learning and Youth companies as well as creators in Canada. You will manage day-to-day operations with partners, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and analyzing data to identify growth opportunities. You will also run workshops, training sessions and initiatives designed to grow the Canadian Health, Learning and Youth ecosystem on YouTube. Through excellent cross-functional initiatives with colleagues from Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal and Communications, you’ll ensure our partners are poised for success and our users enjoy the best experience possible.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we share, and build community through our stories. Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to grow and enhance the overall Canadian Health, Learning and Youth ecosystems on YouTube.
  • Negotiate agreements and cultivate partnerships with some of Canada’s largest Health, Learning and Youth companies and creators.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
  • Produce analyses and recommendations to improve performance as part of regular review cycle with managed partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal and Communications to bring the right solutions to key partners.
