Business Development Manager, Google Workspace (Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or similar.
  • Experience in managing leads from key industry events and facilitating agreements.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently in this customer-facing role as it requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of sales processes (e.g., Configure, Price, Quote) and contributing to their improvement.
  • Ability to engage with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Ability to work separately and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with C-suite level clients, leveraging industry knowledge and excellent communication skills to build a high-quality pipeline.
  • Follow up on leads generated from critical partner events, creating new business opportunities.
  • Provide essential support to streamline business processes, including assisting with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) related issues.
  • Offer crucial feedback for systemic improvements to our business processes and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
