Segment Go-To-Market Analyst, YouTube Business

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects.
  • 3 years of experience in SQL and Python to query and analyze datasets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience of applying AI/ML concepts (e.g., predictive modeling, classification, lead scoring) to solve business problems.
  • Experience building data models and automating reports/dashboards in a data visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
  • Experience in strategic planning, GTM, or business operations.
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work on their own on project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. As a Business Analyst on this team focusing on our segmentation operations, you will play a central role in shaping the future of our partnerships GTM. You will be a key architect in bringing our partner segmentation to life by leveraging AI-powered solutions to create a scalable and intelligent system for partner assignments. You will own the operations that power our partner assignment operations for YouTube Business partnerships organization. You will focus on using advanced analytics to answer a critical business question: How can we leverage AI to ensure every Partner Manager is equipped to serve the right partners at the right time?

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to integrate AI/ML models into our partner assignment operations.
  • Design and build scalable, automated assignments processes and data governance to ensure our Partner Managers are always focused on the right partners to drive sustainable growth.
  • Use advanced SQL and data analysis to proactively identify opportunities in our current segment GTM operations and develop data-driven, actionable recommendations to improve productivity and impact.
  • Act as a critical liaison between our business (frontline, segment GTM design) and technical (Data Science, BizTech, Engineering) teams to ensure our solutions are aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Present your findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Your ability to tell a compelling story with data will drive critical business decisions.
