Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or a business related field.
- 10 years of experience in Product Management.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to build and ship products.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, infrastructure management, or data center operations.
- Experience with data-driven product decisions and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to track record of defining, launching, and managing software products throughout their life-cycle.

The Talos team develops and manages the software platform at the heart of Google's data center operations. Talos is the primary tool used by Data Center Technicians and other operations teams (including Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), Software Engineers) to deploy, manage, maintain, and decommission the hardware infrastructure (servers, networking, cooling, etc.) that powers Google's global fleet. Our mission is to provide an efficient, reliable, and user-friendly platform that enables scalable and cost-effective data center operations, ultimately ensuring the availability and performance of Google's DC Infrastructure. - Define and drive the product goals, strategy, and roadmap for key areas of the Talos platform.
- Understand the needs of Data Center operations teams (e.g., Technicians, Operations Managers, SREs) through user research, data analysis, and direct engagement.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technological opportunities into clear product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, User Experience (UX), User Experience Research (UXR), and Technical Program Manager (TPM) teams to guide product development from conception through launch and iteration.
- Prioritize features and investments to maximize impact on operational efficiency, reliability, user satisfaction, and business objectives.
