Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with Backend and Full-Stack Development.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Ability to manage process/project with prioritization, and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Excellent C/C++/Java programming skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Our team’s mission is to drive Workspace business growth by helping customers discover, adopt and embrace Workspace. The specific growth levers that this team focuses on are New Seat acquisition, Seat upgrades (ARPU increase), Reduce early churn by improving onboarding and Consumer monetization in partnership with Google One team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the Workspace and Cloud level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). So, you will be working on critical projects with a lot of business/business impact. You will have experience working as a backend engineer with a product-team experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems in Java to drive user acquisition and onboarding.
- Drive system reliability, low latency, and incident response and optimize full-stack system design for performant and user experiences.
- Implement and lead guardrails and measurements for experiments across the full stack.
- Write SQL and perform independent data analysis to drive decisions and measure launch impact.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners to lead technical integrations, maintenance, and migrations.
