About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Google Home mission is to create a home that takes care of the people inside and the world around it. The Home Infrastructure team empowers the development and operation of compelling experiences through scalable and efficient infrastructure, coherent internal developer journeys and platforms, and easy to use and well-structured APIs. We ensure a reliable foundation for all Home products (including Gemini for the Home and Google Assistant) and across the Home Platform (including both 1P and 3P devices/services).

We are seeking a strong, technically-minded program manager to work with our engineering and product management teams to define, build, and launch robust and scalable solutions. Our customers are both internal and, indirectly, external; building strong stakeholder relationships and representing their needs while ensuring that we are delivering value to the business and our end users. In doing so, you’ll drive the development of systems and tools used across the entire Home organization to launch products that make people's lives easier, more entertaining, and more fulfilling in the Home.

The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
