Administrative Business Partner, Google Customer Solutions (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment, and managing projects and events from pre-planning to execution.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to engage with local stakeholders in Japan.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with calendar management over international timezones, travel scheduling and booking, and budgeting of events.
  • Experience in using technology with the ability to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of process, project and program management theory and practices with the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple people and job functions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all business matters.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

As an Administrative Business Partner, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

In this role, you will provide support for executive leadership and act as a partner, enabling executives to be more effective. You will be organized, resourceful, and anticipate the needs of the leaders and team members, and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues. You will move with the changing environment and will be up to date with the latest Google products and services. You will use the knowledge to support the team's projects. Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leaders and perform an array of administrative tasks (e.g., manage calendars, arrange domestic and international travel, space planning, facilities, etc).
  • Plan, manage and execute event logistics (e.g., team events, offsites or other celebrations and milestones), including coordinating content creation, identifying speakers, etc.
  • Prioritize engaging tasks, and build responsiveness into existing operations and help define new operational strategies.
  • Exhibit the standards of Google with the understanding of Google policies and procedures. Give excellent judgment and discretion to support the team's projects, and establish trust with cross-functional partners.
  • Work with external partners, companies, and guests on behalf of the executive partner for scheduling of engagements, appointments, and any requests.
