Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in an HR business partner or HR generalist.
- Experience in HR in two or more of the following areas, such as organizational design, succession planning, business consulting, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management and employee relations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
- Knowledge of HR, Center of Excellence (CoE) disciplines and local employment law.
- Excellent project management skills and delivery, able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
- Excellent change management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

At Google, our Market Consultant role is known for deep subject matter expertise in HR programs, processes and execution in their particular market.You will work closely with the head of HR, who sets the strategy via the market HR plan, to execute on and operationalize Google’s geographic priorities in market. You have sound knowledge in company and local programs, policies, compliance procedures and offer a compelling voice around HR matters as it relates to the market, internally and externally. You will work seamlessly across multiple People Operations (POps) partners and business stakeholders to collaborate effectively and use their influencing skills as needed to represent the needs of Google.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the deployment of high priority countries focussed HR programmes and initiatives, aligned to the country people plan.
- Work with the HR Compliance team, Process Ownership team, User Support team and the relevant teams on prioritizing and mitigating market related risks.
- Work with the relevant teams across People Operations to ensure delivery for our HR processes in the country.
- Drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure work is in service at the end of end delivery of our Googler experience in the country.
- Support local labor relations management, including engaging with councils/work councils where applicable.
