Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and developing business teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders and driving results in agile environments.
  • Experience working with Agency partners and businesses.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising (eg., AI-powered Performance, CTV, AI-powered Video) and the key performer landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business goals and ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to sell and propose creative technologies across various landscapes of key decision makers.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Head of Industry for United States (US) Agency holding companies, you will cultivate C-level relationships, create and execute partnership programs, discuss significant business agreements, and plan a high-performing team to achieve aspiring goals. You will be involved in driving agency growth by utilizing Google's offerings, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, and fostering, integrated partnerships to expand business and represent Google within the industry.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients meet their marketing purpose.
  • Build an in-depth of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing goals.
  • Develop long term C-Level relationships across the agency portfolio to influence and optimize advertising investments. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business tests, marketing goals, and success metrics.
  • Manage a team of Agency Leads or Account Managers responsible for driving growth across the portfolio of agencies.
  • Provide guidance and specialized experience to a cross-functional set of Google teams on the dynamics, trends, opportunities, and tests of our agencies and implications for clients.
