EHS Third Party Risk Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in EHS management, with a focus on third-party risk management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing EHS management systems.
  • Experience in international EHS regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Experience working with global supply chains.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and corporate social responsibility principles.

In this role, you will help identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

As a key partner, you will play a crucial role in advancing our global environmental, health, and safety (EHS) goal and achieving our shared mission. This involves advocating a proactive safety culture and mitigating risk associated with our vendors and suppliers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive internal and external operating procedures for standardized vendor risk rating systems, establishing evaluation protocols, operations, and creating clear policies, written guidelines, and practical operational solutions.

You will also be responsible for establishing key performance indicators, analyzing performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. You will find solutions to global vendor and supplier safety tests will be essential in this role as you contribute to building EHS third-party risk management program.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a comprehensive global EHS third-party Risk Management program ensuring the program remains effective and aligned with evolving EHS regulations and industry best practices through improvement.
  • Develop and execute audit protocols for third-party vendors. This includes reviewing vendor documentation such as safety programs, training records, and incident reports.
  • Play a key role in promoting EHS awareness and accountability across our suppliers.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the EHS third-party Risk Management program.
  • You will work with internal stakeholders across various departments; Externally, you will build relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Furthermore, you will actively participate in industry forums and events to stay informed about best practices and contribute to the broader EHS community.
