Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Machine Learning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing execution of software engineering programs.
  • Experience leading or navigating multiple cycles of feature releases from inception to launch.
  • Experience solving challenging problems, driving multiple stakeholders to resolution, and bringing simplicity to processes and ideas.
  • Ability to communicate and influence multiple levels of geographically dispersed stakeholders.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Search Personalization team's mission is to craft personalized search experiences that resonate with each individual user. The team's goal is to be true partners on every search journey, offering insightful results while ensuring complete transparency and user control and agency.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications. 
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with the program life-cycle that address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship, and near- and long-term objectives.
  • Determine and collect data needed to govern programs and drive stakeholder decision-making.
  • Anticipate change management requirements by program stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
