Creator Support Strategy and Operations Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience working in a consulting firm in a Business-to-Business (B2B) or Business-to-Consumer (B2C) company in consumer technical/media/internet.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 5 years of experience in professional services (e.g., consulting, investment banking) or a corporate strategy role.
  • Experience in support or customer success in a Business-to-Business company or consulting firm.
  • Experience in consumer internet and media industries.
  • Experience with SQL.

About the job

The Support and Services team is responsible for innovating our service models for YouTube’s Operations including creator support, consumer support, and partner engineering to optimize impact and cost/resource efficiency.

In this role, you will define and build alignment on strategy, set measures of success, identify critical initiatives, enable change management with teams and develop pilots to test new models.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Determine how to address solving creator support’s biggest opportunities and most challenging problems.
  • Structure, launch, and drive workstreams by developing hypotheses, translating these hypotheses into work plans, conducting analysis including YouTube case data, business drivers and operating metrics, and extracting the right insights and implications.
  • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate recommendations to YouTube’s executives and the broader organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align on recommendations, execute experimentation plans, and manage change successfully.
  • Be a culture-carrier for the team.
