Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with cyber threat intelligence or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with data analytics and reports/dashboards using SQL or other equivalent languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with abuse detection, and web platform intricacies.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: threat modeling, incident/emergency response, OS hardening, vulnerability management, pen testing, or cryptographic concepts.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager, you will be instrumental in leading initiatives that strengthen Alphabet's defense against cyber threats. You will partner with a group of security and software engineers, intelligence analysts, and technical program managers across our various programs. You will be crucial in planning requirements, managing project life-cycles, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. You will drive the delivery of programs, improve processes, and identify future opportunities to enhance Google's threat intel capabilities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cyber threat intelligence (CTI) analysis teams, managing milestones, resource allocation, and on-time delivery across massive distributed systems.
  • Establish and optimize a communications operating rhythm to disseminate intelligence, including public and internal reporting programs.
  • Develop and implement quantitative frameworks to measure the impact.
  • Drive initiatives to unify threat actor naming conventions.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to stakeholders and all levels within the company.
