Senior Product Manager, YouTube Ads Infrastructure, Strategic Integrations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience with Ads, the Ad Tech ecosystem, or API.
  • Experience driving the product goals, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience working with Internet products, infrastructure and APIs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of new technology and businesses.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working across different functions and multiple teams in a structured organization to deliver large, complex products successfully.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The YouTube Ads Infrastructure team’s mission is to build a privacy-safe, efficient, and scalable infrastructure platform that drives business growth, enhances ad relevance and performance, and boosts developer productivity. As the video ecosystem grows, YouTube and Google Ads is transitioning from a creator-led product primarily for desktop and mobile, to new devices and new experiences with a growing stable of content partners.

In this role, you will lead YouTube Ads foray into these new growth areas. You will work with both internal and external partners to power the next set of YouTube Ads experiences, integrations and business models. You will collaborate with our Infrastructure and Product teams to build the YouTube Ads platform resulting in measurable business impact in new areas.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define new products in the ad tech ecosystem, in close collaboration with engineering and partner teams, to drive advertiser/ partner activation and scale adoption.
  • Define and execute on a comprehensive strategy for building a privacy-safe, efficient, and scalable infrastructure platform.
  • Define comprehensive, standards-based, privacy-safe, policy-compliant and reusable integrations with external partners.
  • Own the product roadmap and product lifecycle, including partnering with cross-Product area teams to ensure that YouTube Ads is aligned with Google’s overarching Ads strategy.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners to take Infrastructure and Integration Products and APIs to market; developing internal and external business narratives.
