Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management, managing suppliers and partners in implementing test requirements.
- 3 years of leadership experience including people management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Ability to develop leadership, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, and strategic skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
Google's custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver physical infrastructure.
As a Test Technical Program Manager, you drive manufacturing test processes, tools and procedures behind the products powering Google’s Data Centers. When vendors build parts for our infrastructure, you are right there alongside ensuring manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with Design Engineering to determine Google’s infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage Test Technical Program Management Office for Machine Learning (ML) New Product Introduction (NPIs) and Project Planning for Test Development Activities across the ML Portfolio of GPU and TPU products.
- Manage manufacturing test development activities and dependencies across internal teams and external partners to drive strategic initiatives.
- Manage procurement, budget, schedule, and risk management for ML manufacturing test development projects and alignment with NPI program schedules. Document Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Lead manufacturing test development teams through planning, development and deployment of test solutions to support volume manufacturing.
- Experience in managing and communicating to executive stakeholders. Lead and drive cross-functional, cross-vertical initiative(s) to drive test process standardization, optimization, or transformation.
