Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in managing partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in an ever-changing and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to support partner relationship management in this region.

About the job

In this role, you will drive engagement for Google Photos and accelerate subscriber growth by collaborating with major partners across key OEMs, telecommunications carriers, and third-party (3P) apps. You will track industry trends, serve as a dedicated partner advocate, and transform collaborative opportunities into impactful business development initiatives through effective execution.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate full ownership of the partnership lifecycle by taking an active role in evaluation and structuring, coordinating with internal stakeholders to lead the agreement approval process, and partnering product-driven agreements with win-win incentives and balanced terms.
  • Identify and support exploratory discussions with potential partners across industries.
  • Evaluate and quantify partnership opportunities, lead investigative and financial analysis and present partnership recommendations and related business impact to internal leaders.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of internal teams, including technical stakeholders in order to clearly and concisely articulate business and product requirements.
  • Build, maintain and evolve relationships with partners, at executive and working level with internal cross-functional stakeholders.
