As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. In this role you will be specialized in curating and delivering the technical infrastructure and building blocks Corp Eng engineers need to do their jobs, providing guidance for the enterprise developer productivity and quality. You will work in an organization of cross-disciplinary/cross-functional teams that help improve how software gets built, tested, and deployed. You will also focus on streamlining and standardizing the technology stack across Corp Eng, promoting efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across global teams and time zones, collaborate on deliverables, and ensure project plan and timeline alignment.
  • Execute and improve programs by developing processes, templates, and reporting mechanisms, managing tasks and tracking progress, as well as ensure smooth delivery of projects at different stages of maturity.
  • Partner with Software Engineer (SWE), Product Managers, Engineering Managers to manage bodies of work and ensure solutions are designed, planned, executed, and launched.
  • Own communication to bring visibility across teams and key stakeholders.
  • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.
