Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in business operations, planning, or related roles, ideally within a technology or trust and safety context.
  • Experience with Objectives and Key Results frameworks and performance management methodologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across Google.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for Trust and Safety.

Join our dynamic StratOps team within Google's Trust and Safety organization, where we play a crucial role in safeguarding user trust and promoting responsible innovation. As a Business Operations and Planning Lead, you will provide centralized leadership and direction for key workstreams, directly contributing to our mission of enabling cohesion and empowering Trust and Safety. You will drive operational excellence, deepen business insights, and ensure alignment with Google's broader commitment to delivering trusted and safe experiences globally. This role is essential in supporting Global Affairs' mission to build trust in the potential of technology.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a robust OKR framework that aligns with Trust and Safety priorities and contributes to Global Affairs' broader mission.
  • Implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive supply/demand workforce model for the Trust and Safety organization.
  • Lead critical cross-Trust and Safety forums, including partnering with Communications to develop robust, timely and strategic agendas that align with leadership top-of-mind and enable greater dot connecting, line of sight and transparency across the Organization.
  • Serve as a Trust and Safety primary Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert for resourcing, acting as the key liaison with cross-functional partners (i.e., Finance, People Operations, and Global Affairs Resource Management).
  • Develop and implement data-driven resource allocation strategies, informed by the supply/demand model, to support the effective execution of Trust and Safety initiatives and strategic priorities.
