Industry Manager (Fixed-Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years working experience in management, consulting or sales.
  • Experience within a customer facing environment, working to specific goals/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and managing full business-cycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with major brands and growing such brands internationally.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to develop and grow executive-level relationships with advertisers and agencies.

About the job

As an Industry Manager, you will take initiative and be proactive in driving business, increasing client base, and promoting for Google. You will work with clients to provide digital solutions for business and marketing objectives via a variety of Google products and tools. You will find and manage new and existing business customer relationships, and work with the industry executives to develop Google's marketplace in the Danish, Finnish and Norwegian markets. You will be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities in various markets. You will have experience with the media and dealing with agencies.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain C-level relationships with your portfolio of customers.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations to present to clients.
  • Structure joint business plans (JBPs) for key customer accounts and help transform growth curves thorough understanding of their business objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and issues.
  • Educate market on Google’s performance and brand solutions.
  • Drive business and be responsible for pipeline management for the assigned set of clients.
