Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in business development, consultative sales, partnerships, agreement structures and working with product, or engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires communicating with clients and stakeholders locally and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience, with the majority in the enterprise mobile industry, across devices, telcos, mobile device management (MDM/UEM), or related start-ups, as well as with Enterprise IT deployments.
- Experience with partnership development and partner relationship management.
- Ability to be an advocate for your ecosystem internally, and work to identify opportunities or resolve issues.
- Ability to manage partners, influence and guide partners, such as Carrier and Global System Integrators.
- Ability to speak in public, give executive-level presentations in Japanese, and represent Google in agreement discussions and structure terms to achieve partner alignment.
- Excellent negotiation, and partnership skills.

The Android Enterprise Partnerships team works across the ecosystem to help the partners bring the best of Android to companies and their users at Work.
In this role, you will support a broad spectrum of partners in key areas such as training, enablement, technology adoption and go-to-market (GTM). These partners include Carriers, Enterprise Mobility Management partners (EMMs), Value Added Resellers (VARs), Retailers and OEMs. The goal is to help users leverage the Android platform in a secure and manageable way, leveraging the best in AI and helping them boost employee productivity, safely and securely, in today's workplace.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Android Enterprise across Japan and the North Asia ecosystem. Collaborate with key partners, including Carriers, OEMs, etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships at both leadership and working team levels. Create joint business plans and conduct regular reviews to ensure the delivery of business outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including local P&D Partnerships, Android Enterprise Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, on new initiatives and key strategic relationships.
- Provide valuable local market insights to inform product direction and ensure success in this critical growth market. Act as the primary escalation point of contact aross the ecosystem.
- Navigate the complexity and ambiguity associated with building a presence from the ground up, establishing Google as a leader in B2B. Exhibit a high degree of internal and external entrepreneurship, effectively representing business opportunities.
