Site Program Manager, Googler Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing projects.
  • Experience in program management, including in developing and scaling programs.
  • Experience with partnering and influencing executive leaders (VPs and Directors) and cross-functional partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization, with excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to solve problems by assessing and deciding how to invest time and resources in order to meet goals and deadlines for program activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and effective acumen, with a high tolerance for ambiguity within a rapidly changing environment.

As a Site Program Manager, you will connect Googlers to our mission, culture and each other by scaling relevant programs for Googlers in our sites. As a member of the Poland HR Team, you will be responsible for driving site strategies, managing site governance and operations, and creating community through engaging site programs. In addition to being organized, you will have the business acumen and communication skills to interact with a site leadership team and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, partners and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of HR and Site Leaders in Poland by remaining informed about site-related issues and advising on site strategies, plans, operations and governance.
  • Initiate and execute mission-first programs to address challenges and opportunities across Poland's sites, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Define and streamline processes to manage programs, involving cross-functional stakeholders and organizing tasks into clear goals and objectives. Develop end-to-end program plans and adjust to stay on track and achieve program goals. Influence teams to work toward common goals for the program and Google.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams on site programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment between business, culture, and people.
  • Utilize knowledge of Google-wide processes and program management best practices, leveraging resources from the central Site Experience and Culture Strategy team.
