Associate Product Marketing Manager, Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Less than 3 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank or other role utilizing problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to management.
  • Ability to take initiative, experience in leadership roles, problem solving skills, and work in a dynamic workstream environments.
  • Ability to develop and understand strategy.
  • Ability to work well with others and influence stakeholders.
  • Interest in technology, creativity to think outside the box, and leadership skills to execute effectively with an understanding of Google's products and technology industry.
  • Ability to communicate in Vietnamese fluently to foster and develop key relationships with new and existing Vietnamese-speaking partners in Vietnam.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will be a business leader, shaping the future of one of our Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (e.g., Search, YouTube, Chrome, Android) or a business product (e.g., Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, YouTube Ads), you will take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications, you will help shape the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. You will work with a cross-functional team across sales, communications, legal, product development, engineering, and more. You will have input on the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end, and form a future marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies and organizational coordination for new feature launches, including positioning, naming, external communications, competitive analysis, and feature prioritization.
  • Manage and work with internal cross-functional teams and external marketing agencies.
  • Be involved with driving business and be responsible for maximizing the earning potential of our products.
  • Work with one of our Ad Product teams and craft plans that package our product features as a full solution for our advertisers, publishers, and users.
  • Develop messaging, collateral, events, and business strategies aimed at acquiring advertisers and publishers, increasing our engagement with them.
