Program Manager, Procurement Cloud Supply Chain and Ops

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience with operations management, procurement, people management, program management, project execution, data analysis, execution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing vendor agreements and executing extended workforce projects, with the ability to deliver results against key operational metrics and KPI’s, diagnose issues, and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Experience developing and leading high-performing teams with a commitment to building team culture.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to successfully work across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organization and program management skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Procurement Ops Manager in the Supply Chain Organization, you will be responsible for procurement operations, materials fulfillment, driving business process improvements and analytics projects. Your expertise in the areas of materials management, systems and procurement processes will be critical for on-time delivery and project execution required to fulfill massive compute hardware and technology at our global data centers. You will frequently collaborate with NPI, Supply Planning, Engineering, Commodity Management, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, and Suppliers to drive process and system changes that enable materials procurement for Google's growing infrastructure. Your partnership with the Commodity Management, Contract Manufacturing and Procurement Ops teams in the US will be critical in identifying the right operations model needed to support various procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop processes for timely, cost effective procurement of material while working closely with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Drive the team for scalable solutions and support models around invoice resolution, PO placements, transactional error resolution, receiving issues, etc.
  • Serve as subject matter expert, define OKRs, KPIs, and align on priorities for the team.
  • Lead continuous improvement in purchasing, material delivery, and shortage management with a focus on data analytics that enable decision making for deployments.
  • Ensure cross-functional program management, timely supplier onboardings, system setups and new automation capabilities.
