Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading business strategy development for multinational organizations.
  • Experience in planning, sales or marketing, structuring and implementing initiatives alongside sales teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, multiple projects with a range of executive internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional technical and business partners.
  • Ability to translate business issues into easily, understandable solutions and functional requirements.

About the job

The Go-To-Market (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting Go-To-Market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

As Head of Services and Distribution Solutions (SDS) Go-To-Market Operations, you are responsible for maintaining sales cadence for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) business as well as strategic planning for future growth, primarily partnering with the VP of SDS LCS (Services), Industry Directors, other members of the SDS Management Group, as well as cross-channel and cross-functional partners. You will ensure delivery of the business priorities for the Sector, define and deliver strategies and programs to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency across the entire business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales executives to drive business plans and Go-To-Market sales strategy.
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and consult decision making within senior-level audiences.
  • Structure and lead large-scale operational improvement initiatives through implementation. Identify and resolve issues impacting business growth.
  • Run smooth, efficient sales launch processes leading planning and supporting sales activation programs, headcount planning, objective setting, sales cadence, portfolio management, and escalations.
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver on all strategic and operational priorities.
