Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • Experience collaborating with executive sales, sales operations, or executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience executing strategies to deliver solutions in a global or international environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of the quote-to-cash (Q2C) process, cloud technologies, and the enterprise market landscape.
  • Ability to balance internal and external factors when identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Ability to influence without authority and manage geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment and high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

About the job

As a Program Manager for Strategic Initiatives, you will be a critical link between sales, engineering, and operations. You will lead high-impact projects designed to improve operational excellence, velocity and productivity across the global agreement execution operating model. This role requires a unique blend of strategic influence and the ability to take initiative to solve complex operational bottlenecks. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance the making workflow, from pricing and contracting to order provisioning, and driving the successful implementation of these solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and land cross-functional initiatives that improve velocity, business, and productivity.
  • Lead the operationalization of new programs, product offerings, or process improvements to support the growth of the Google Cloud business.
  • Source and analyze agreement execution metrics to provide executive leadership with recommendations and insights into the business.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, including Sales, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Product teams, to influence prioritization and drive results.
  • Manage ad hoc projects and studies, ensuring all deliverables meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
