Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership.
  • Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization.

About the job

Global Partnerships's Central Business Operations and Strategy team (GP BizOps) is a central strategy group that works across all areas of Global Partnerships. We partner directly with the Global Partnerships Leadership team to find solutions to complex problems. We drive strategy initiatives that cut cross-Global Partnerships and cross-Google to help advance decision making at the leadership level, and drive operational aptitude through leadership forums, annual planning, resource allocation, and more.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, Global Partnerships, you will work directly with the Global Partnerships Leadership team on high priority topics that cross-cut the organization. You will lead strategic projects or initiatives, and provide clear, high-impact deliverables that influence leadership and help evolve our Partnerships strategy and organization. You will turn insights/recommendations into action by working closely with frontline teams and with key cross-functional leaders (e.g., Finance, Communications, POps, Legal, gTech, etc.). You will learn how Partnerships contribute to Google’s business and strategic goals, and understand the internal and external drivers that impact our business.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership in Global Partnerships to develop strategic perspectives on critical partnership topics.
  • Recommend, develop, and launch complex initiatives for Global Partnerships.
  • Work with other members of the BizOps team, as well as cross-functional leads (e.g., Finance, HR, etc.) to solve critical issues impacting Global Partnerships.
  • Support and evolve elements of Global Partnerships operations including contributing to areas such as organization health, OKRs, and quarterly business reviews.
