Senior Software Engineer, Agentic BigQuery

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience in the following areas: ML, Generative AI concepts, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (especially Data Analytics Services and Vertex AI).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    Cloud Cost Optimization, BigQuery, Data Analytics
  • Experience with Python, Notebooks, ML Frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow).
  • Experience in Machine Learning especially in Generative AI.
  • Experience in large scale data systems.
  • Experience in building Gen AI Agents.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Advise the design and development of large scale software services that revolutionize data analytics, with a focus on Machine Learning and Generative AI applications.
  • Collaborate closely with technical leads to launch innovative solutions leveraging the power of Large Language Models, Agents and other advanced AI techniques.
  • Navigate unexplored areas by prototyping and researching solutions for groundbreaking ML projects in BigQuery.
  • Engage with product managers and customers to decipher requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications, while identifying opportunities to integrate ML and Generative AI solutions.
