Senior Cybersecurity Strategic Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • 5 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in Cloud platforms.
  • Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients’ cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
  • Experience with Cloud governance.
  • Ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

As a Strategic Consultant you will serve as a trusted advisor to leading organizations, guiding them through complex cybersecurity tests. This role involves leveraging Mandiant's cyber strategy consulting and advisory. In this role you will assess security postures, develop strategic roadmaps, and provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and advanced threat protection, ensuring clients achieve cyber resilience in an evolving threat landscape.

Our Mandiant Consulting LATAM team is unique because we combine Mandiant's world-renowned, frontline cyber expertise with Google Cloud's global scale and technology, all while navigating the and rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape of Latin America. We're not just consultants; we're the trusted advisors helping organizations in a critical, high-growth region defend against the most sophisticated threats.

We work on the most challenging cybersecurity problems across LATAM. This includes leading complex cyber incident responses for major enterprises and governments, helping them contain, eradicate, and recover from breaches like ransomware attacks.

Delivering offensive security services (red teaming, penetration testing) to proactively identify vulnerabilities before adversaries do.
Providing security consulting, helping clients build mature cybersecurity programs aligned with their business objectives and regional regulations. Translating Mandiant's unparalleled threat intelligence into actionable insights for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop roadmaps and recommendations to drive client enhancements of their cloud security architecture, governance, and standards.
  • Identify, incorporate, and articulate cloud security best practices such as DevSecOps strategy, Zero Trust design, and cloud incident response.
  • Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations, track and drive to closure any issues that impact the service and its value to clients.
  • Provide guidance on building and/or maturing cyber security programs and the implementation of tools and technologies used for enterprise security.
  • Lead execution of consulting engagements and development of deliverables from start to finish, leading teams in analyzing requirements and working closely with other team members to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
