Strategic Partner Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting within the media and entertainment industry, including influencer and creator networks or agencies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience with partner development and negotiation through business development and driving product adoption.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining complex, end-to-end strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with potential partners.
  • Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Effective planning and time management skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Align product/content with partner business goals, provide guidance to drive adoption, and secure content required through agreements and acquisitions.
  • Support business and product innovation through goal-oriented programs and pilots, creator engagement, and beta testing.
  • Build a network of partners to serve as platform advocates, and represent YouTube at industry events.
  • Manage partner issues, educate on policies, and ensure agreement/corpus hygiene.
  • Contribute to the Google community and culture, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
