Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with data analysis and executive presentations and ads products

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience in consulting, business support, and market research.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Experience developing advanced dashboards and data visualizations in PLX, complemented by proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
  • Demonstrated record of building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and successfully navigating and influencing personalities within a business environment.

You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. You will set the goal and the strategy for how Google can maximize the growth and success of our customers.

As a Go-to-Market (GTM) Sales Strategy and Operations Lead, you will partner closely with our Director of Performance and will lead sector and regional projects to drive strategy and improve the operations of the Large Customer Sales organization and our specialist/partner teams.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market sales strategy and execution across our performance products and drive annual and quarterly planning for the team, including quarterly updates to leadership.
  • Drive operational logistics for your partner team, including resource allocation, engagement models, joining/driving management meetings, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measuring progress.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team efficiencies and lead efforts to scale best practices.
  • Engage in cross-sector and product prioritization alignment conversations to drive consistency in engagement models and correctly vet metrics to ensure global/regional initiatives are rolled out properly within the sector.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives, including Business Forecast Model (BFM) goal setting, performance tracking, and actionable insights to accelerate key product plays.
