Strategy and Operations Lead, Revenue Strategy and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in highly fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Understanding of GCS Sales programs (structure, incentives, tools, etc.).
  • Track record of managing stakeholders at executive levels with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven thought leader who is able to ideate and generate recommendations that drive tangible business impact.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be the domain expert on Goolge Customer Solutions (GCS) incentives in APAC and partner with global, central partners within GCS RSO to influence the future strategy and evolution of our incentives roadmap based on deep sales and market insights. You will also be responsible for leading and project managing cross-cutting strategic projects that lift the impact of APAC GCS sales programs. In this role, you will build structure and processes when needed to drive accuracy in our programs, and partner with central and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on GCS incentives in APAC, partnering closely with the GCS APAC sales team to ensure that our sales managers and frontline sellers have a strong understanding of our incentives system.
  • Collaborate with global, central partners within GCS RSO to influence the future strategy and evolution of our incentives roadmap based on deep sales and market insights.
  • Identify, develop, and execute on APAC wide cross-program strategic initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness and impact across managed sales programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders including sales leadership, sales managers, regional program managers, and other analysts to successfully shape, launch, and land cross-program priorities.
  • Track the progress of strategic initiatives/program changes, using quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback, to continuously improve initiatives.
