Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role or a similar role within the advertising industry or client side.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, or consulting sales.
- Ability to deliver results and client services in a fluid environment.
- Ability to quickly complete a large volume of work.
- Excellent leadership, organization, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

As an Account Manager, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or to solve their business challenges. You will use your marketing skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to make recommendations to the clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success. Client's success will ultimately lead to business for the team and Google. To make it, account managers are expected to learn Google's products fully and in a timely manner, and understand digital marketing, to utilize it in the business activity.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
- Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
- Leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
- Build relationships with customers and agencies and educate them on digital trends, digital marketing and any other worthwhile information.
