International Growth Consultant, Large Customer Sales (EU Market)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in advertising sales, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
  • Experience in cross-border or exporting business.
  • Experience in an analytical capacity, leveraging data to generate market insights or business proposals.
  • Experience in a sales or client-engagement role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French, German, or Spanish fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing grounded, insight-driven narratives and applying them in mobile, digital, and offline mediums into actionable business growth opportunities.
  • Experience working in Europe or knowledge of European markets/regions.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising.
  • Ability to take initiative and work well in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial and goal oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, project management, presentation, and organizational skills, and ability to tell stories with data.

The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the full potential of international growth across Google Ads. We're a global team composed of experienced Strategy Consultants, Consultative Sellers, and Operations Experts. We pride ourselves on our deep knowledge across industries, geographies, and products. As an expert on international expansion processes/success factors and member of a global network, you'll be a trusted advisor and partner to our customers. From strategic planning support, identifying the right target markets, to setting them up for success within their non-domestic footprint, you'll provide insights and direct support, helping them reach and exceed their international ambitions.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth and scale for an assigned portfolio.
  • Understand customer's objectives, and be a digital consultant to businesses in APAC looking for international opportunities.
  • Understand the market landscape, and develop and execute projects around international growth, impacting clients' understanding of global markets.
  • Contribute to growing international growth acumen and resources within Google, and support other members in your network by sharing knowledge about your assigned market.
  • Build thorough knowledge related to advertising on Google, Google Display Network, and YouTube.
