Technical Solutions Consultant, Shopping

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Internet products and technologies.
  • Experience in technical design.
  • Understanding of publishers, the advertising industry, or online advertisements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders along with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

As a Shopping Technical Solutions Consultant, you will, develop knowledge in Google Shopping products and apply them to achieve customer goals. You will build processes, systems, tools, and documentation to support these products and also monitor product performance for Americas Mid Market Sales (MMS) clients in collaboration with Partner Sales teams. You will also develop tools that address client technological and business needs and identify growth opportunities and improve processes through workflow optimization and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product adoption and usage, be the primary day-to-day technical contact for clients, providing support and service to ensure customer satisfaction on Google Merchant Center/Shopping.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to support communication, prioritization, implementation, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues. Participate in the analysis and research for technical challenges and work with Product Escalation teams.
  • Advocate new product features and assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build success. Provide documentation and technical guidance to ensure the technical success of clients’ integrations.
  • Support the technical aspects of advertiser and publisher integrations by providing necessary documentation and guidance.
  • Review current processes and design/develop tools, processes, workflows.
