Sales Manager, Large Customer Sales, Market: Northern Europe

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, ecommerce, retail or media.
  • 7 years of experience in people management, with experience building and leading Sales teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving business strategy and quarterly goals through executive-level engagement and collaboration with product or engineering teams on change management and organizational design.
  • Experience in travel industry.
  • Understanding Marketing Measurement, including knowledge of solutions across the Industry.
  • Understanding of brand marketing, and ability in growing customers’ businesses through full funnel media solutions and leading teams.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work in environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will work with the kind of businesses that shape culture and carry global influence. You will guide the Consumer and Booking team. In addition, you will lead and coach a team of individual contributors and managers, shape the strategy, and define team priorities in close collaboration with the in-country leadership team. You will own the activation strategy, allocating resources and directing the team to the impact path to realize business ambition.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leaders across functions globally to define business activation strategies, leveraging internal networks to align global and local priorities.
  • Drive thought leadership and problem solving of business challenges, often partnering across organizations and functions to develop activation plans.
  • Lead from the front as a partner to customers, building relationships at a global level across travel and consumer brands. Provide thought leadership, advising clients on consumer trends and best practices that drive their business outcomes.
  • Oversee business and growth opportunities within the market. Guide teams to identify potential and drive marketing efficiency, focusing on the incremental investment and activation plans required to achieve customer business objectives.
