Global Solutions and Industries Content Manager, Telecommunications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or equivalent experience in the enterprise software technology industry focused on Telecommunications.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience in cloud technology working with AI/ML, big data, security or infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing Telecommunications content.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple product or technical teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, including managing external agencies, and driving projects to completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast growing, dynamic and often ambiguous environment, and in partnership with global cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Ability to take complex business challenges or solutions and structure them in a way that is simple and meaningful for the audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong attention to detail.

About the job

As a Global Solutions Content Manager, you will be responsible for positioning our solutions in the context of industry-specific challenges to customers and empowering the global Salesforce to have business value conversations. You will partner closely with the Global Solutions and Industries Leadership Team to develop content to support Google Cloud’s industry and horizontal solutions road-map and assist in the activation plans for field promoters.

In this role, you will ensure promoters are equipped to speak the language of their customers and be focused on the business outcomes of the customer base. A pivot to industry-framed solutions and value Selling is a key objective for Google Cloud and you will play a critical role in this journey. You will report to the Global Director of Industry and Solution Content.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop customer-facing sales content (e.g., Bill of Materials), positioning the value of Google Cloud to solve industry-specific challenges, with an emphasis on Telecommunications.
  • Integrate industry and solution details from subject matter experts and translate into high-impact field and customer-ready content, such as pitch decks, 1-pagers, videos, and more.
  • Manage relationships with sales and solutions/industries leadership across regions and drive alignment on content roadmap priorities.
  • Act as an industry thought leader by proactively staying abreast of industry trends and news in order to effectively shape industry narratives and educate global vertical communities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement teams to activate and train promoters and partners on industry content across a variety of channels, and support the broader global solutions and industries organization as a content and industry subject matter expert.
