Head of Strategic Partner Business, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies in the enterprise segment.
  • Experience working with Nordic solutions providers, system integrators, independent software vendors, or technology services companies.
  • Experience in people management, and managing teams across various countries.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Swedish to manage client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience forecasting, exceeding quotas, and driving rhythm of business with partners.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, running experiments, and developing data-based conclusions to optimize performance.
  • Experience with consumption business models, cloud economics, and partner agreement constructs.
  • Experience building business partnerships, specifically within the Nordics region, with solutions providers, managed service providers, or other SaaS/cloud resellers; experience with cloud partner ecosystems, system integrators, service partners, telcos, and distribution models.
  • Knowledge of competitive landscapes and financial structures, and experience orchestrating mutually beneficial business models.

As the Head of Strategic Partner Business for the Nordics, you will own the Partner Strategy across the region and lead Partner Development Managers ensuring execution in alignment with overall EMEA partner ecosystem strategy.

Together with your team you will build and develop a Channel Ecosystem, which drives future growth and delivers on current business goals. You'll ensure the Partner Strategy in the Nordics is fully aligned across all four countries and is developed in close collaboration with the Country Sales Leads. You'll oversee the identification, creation, negotiation and implementation of effective business development agreements that drive Google Cloud's results.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the overall creation of the Channel Business Plan for the Nordics region and develop a healthy Partner ecosystem to deliver on future growth aspirations.
  • Manage the Partner Pipeline, forecasts, and build an execution plan to get to a green scorecard.
  • Anticipate and define partner management/development problems and craft custom solutions and plans by leading the integration of cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
  • Serve as a domain expert for a critical part of Google Cloud's partner ecosystems within an industry/vertical/market and advocate Google's strategy at key industry events while shaping industry agenda and standards.
  • Lead a team of Partner Development Managers across different countries.
