Our Trust and Safety team has the critical responsibility of protecting Google's users by ensuring online safety by fighting web abuse and fraud across Google products like Search, Maps, Google Ads and AdSense. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic leader. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google developers and Product Managers to navigate challenging online safety situations and handle abuse and fraud cases at Google speed (read: fast!). As a Manager in Trust and Safety, you lead a team responsible for protecting Google and its users by fighting abuse and fraud for at least one Google product. You ensure trust and reputation not only for this product, but also for Google as a broader brand and company. You are a strategic leader who possesses the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with several internal stakeholders through effective relationship building, influence and communication. You demonstrate analytical thinking through data-driven decisions. You have the technical know-how, charisma and ability to work with your team to make a big impact.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the vision and strategy for business analytics and reporting related to Publisher Quality and YouTube Monetization within the Trust and Safety.
  • Develop comprehensive metrics, tools, and dashboards that empower business teams to effectively monitor and achieve operational outcomes. Build executive-level reporting to facilitate data-driven decision-making and business management.
  • Understand the measurement of integrity outcomes and operational contributors. 
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering to advocate for essential infrastructure development. Align with Data Science teams and other analytics functions to establish a clear and efficient operating model.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of data analysts and tooling program managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
