Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience in managing material delivery and the coordination of shipments from source to destination.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience in developing and implementing material delivery strategies for logistics, supply chain, or a related field, with experience improving on-time delivery and driving business impact.
- Experience in logistics network design and optimization, encompassing warehouse operations analysis, logistics cost simulation, inventory optimization, transportation network design, and distribution center planning.
- Experience with developing and implementing logistics strategies across warehousing, labor, and transportation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will partner with cross-functional and internal operations teams to manage the execution and implementation of solutions/programs that optimize logistics across Google Cloud's supply chain. You will utilize and refine Google's logistics processes to optimize material delivery (from source to data center). You will be responsible for driving on-time material delivery, improving transparency of methods, and incorporating operational realities into the analysis. This involves facilitating cross-functional reviews, and ensuring process alignment with operations internally. Your work will provide critical insights supporting operational decisions and informing monthly, quarterly, and annual cross-functional reviews.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with Google Cloud Logistics (GCL) solutions and engineering team to ensure systems are designed and informed by operational and partner team insights.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather quantitative data and qualitative insights that impact Google Cloud logistics needs.
- Communicate the supply chain strategies and underlying assumptions/potential risks to stakeholders to inform downstream logistics planning and execution (e.g., transportation, warehousing, labor) as well as the impact the strategy will have on partner team.
- Analyze historical shipments and other key operational data to ensure future shipments are delivered on-time.
- Prepare and distribute reporting for partner teams that highlight the performance of GCL.
